CNIO scientists link aggressiveness of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia to genetic variability

The two subtypes of this kind of leukaemia, mutated and non-mutated, show different levels of aggressiveness and are closely related to the genetic variability amongst individuals. If these results are confirmed by further research, a classifier based on gene expression variability could be designed for this kind of leukaemia.
