Dinosaur Experts Fact-Check ‘Jurassic World’
The long-anticipated “Jurassic World” is a runaway hit with audiences, and after its record-breaking $208.8 million opening weekend, the film is slated to continue crushing the competition at the box office. The movie is clearly a thrill ride rather than a science lesson, but HuffPost Live spoke with a few experts to find out what the dinosaur flick gets right and wrong about the prehistoric creatures. In the video above, host Josh Zepps talks with “Jurassic World” consultant Dr. Jack Horner, science journalist Brian Switek and paleontologist Dr. Susannah Maidment to fact-check the biology of the movie’s reptilian beasts.
