Discrimination-related stress affects mental health of Latino teens born in the United States

A longitudinal study of 173 Latino teens who attended New York City high schools, has found that discrimination-related stress affected the mental health of teens. Increases in symptoms of anxiety and depression were reported, particularly among teens born in the United States to immigrant parents.
