Land mass forms in the pacific following eruption of the underwater Hunga Ha’apai volcano

The island was spotted in an image (pictured) taken by the Pleiades satellite on 19 January 2015 off the coast of Tonga in the Pacific Ocean. It is around 0.6 miles (1km) wide and is composed mostly of ash. —> Read More Here
