New strategy to revert the effects of obesity on female fertility

Obesity has been linked to fertility problems and long-lasting effects on offspring, partially because overnutrition in females causes damage to the egg cells they produce. Now, researchers are able to reverse this damage in the eggs of obese mice, leading to improved fertility and embryo development.
