New test predicts sudden cardiac death in hemodialysis patients

A new test has been developed to predict sudden cardiac death in hemodialysis patients in whom such forecasts were previously impossible. The test uses a combination of nuclear medicine, C-reactive protein and electrocardiogram (ECG).
